NullDC is an Open Source Sega Dreamcast and NAOMI Emulator for Windows Operating Systems.  NullDC requires DirectX 9.0c, Visual C++ runtime libraries and you have the option to utilize WinPcap for modem emulation.  Some BIOS files are also needed.  Also, if you want to use a gamepad, be sure to use a separate program to map the buttons as NullDC does not have internal support for this. NullDC uses plugins with several implementations for graphics, reading burned CD-Rom games, sound, and disk image files or memory cards.  NullDC supports the ability to load different plugins for different emulator elements as well which means you could emulate a small LCD screen that shows integrated images right on the console controller itself if you wanted.

NullDC is a powerful emulation tool for those wanting to experience the older games of the Sega Dreamcast and NAOMI Emulator. The vast collection of games available to you makes this a must-have for anyone looking for the nostalgia of the SEGA Dreamcast and you can play from the comfort of your own personal computer.

NullDC is a great emulator for emulating classic Sega Dreamcast games. It's easy to install, configure and get up and running quickly. The graphics are crisp, the sound is great and the speed of the games is spot on. It also has a wide range of options for configuration and customization, including resolution, framerate, controller support and more. It's compatible with almost all Dreamcast ROMs and can even be used to play homebrew games. I was surprised by how good the performance of NullDC was, especially compared to some of the other Dreamcast emulators I've used. There was little to no lag or slowdown and the visuals were great. The only downside was that it seemed to be a bit finicky when it came to certain games. Some would crash for no apparent reason, but after tinkering with the settings, I was able to get them running smoothly. Overall, NullDC is a great emulator for playing classic Dreamcast games.

NullDC is an impressive piece of software. It runs very well and offers great graphical fidelity. I have noticed that the emulator is quite sensitive to some minor hardware variations, however. It also appears to be highly dependent on the game being run, with some games performing better than others. The audio is generally very good.

This is an Open Source emulator for Sega Dreamcast and NAOMI intended for Windows operating systems. For its use, you will need DirectX 9.0c, Visual C++ runtime libraries, and you also have the option to use WinPcap for modem emulation. If you plan to use a gamepad, a separate program to map the buttons is necessary, as it does not offer internal support for this purpose. One of its peculiarities is that it uses plugins for multiple implementations, such as graphics, playing games burned on CD-ROM, sound, and disk image or memory card files. Furthermore, it offers the possibility to load different plugins for different emulator elements, which means that you could emulate a small LCD screen that displays integrated images directly on the console controller if you wish.
