"Office Compatibility Pack for Windows" is a free tool that allows you to work with documents created in newer versions of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, even if you continue to use older versions of those programs. With the free "Office Compatibility Pack for Windows" you can open, edit and save in different formats of your old Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files easily. By means of this Office Compatibility Pack, documents created with Office versions 2007 and 2010 can even be opened and edited with outdated Office versions, such as Office 2000 or 2003.

Your Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents created with Office 365, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 models are saved by default in different file formats than previous versions of Office cannot read. You can integrate with "Office Compatibility Pack for Windows" your documents that prepared with Office 2000, XP, and 2003 models. After installation, you can use this program even with these previous versions, loading, and saving of old Office documents in DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX formats are possible.

You should download the "Office Compatibility Pack for Windows" only if you already have a full version of Microsoft Office. Because it only makes sense if a full version of Microsoft Office is already available. The package does not replace them, but only serves to make the new file formats readable on older versions of Office, as well as to be able to edit and save them. No additional functions from newer versions are implemented, only the processing of new file formats is made possible. However, the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack can also be installed to allow newer Office files to be opened in Word Viewer, Excel Viewer, and PowerPoint Viewer.
