PhotoScore

PhotoScore is a program for scanning, editing, playing, converting and printing music scores on the printer. It is sold as PhotoScore & NotateMe Ultimate and as a reduced Lite edition, and a free demo is available.

The Ultimate edition is able to recognize handwritten sheet music made on paper as well as printed music from a scanner, image files such as TIFF and PDF files. In addition, the application recognizes and allows you to process 4- and 6-line guitar tablature, guitar chord diagrams and 1-, 2-, and 3-line percussion staves. The scanned material can be listened to on the built-in player and processed in the music editor integrated in the program. Users can edit notes and read text such as lyrics and titles (120 languages are supported), extract individual parts, transpose music, find and correct rhythmic errors in irregular bars, completely reformat music scores and use other interesting functions. The program also allows you to create musical manuscripts by writing notes by hand with a stylus or mouse in the included NotateMe module.

PhotoScore's finished works can be sent directly to Sibelius or saved as MusicXML and MIDI files for opening in other music editors such as Finale, Dorico, Pro Tools, Cubase and Sonar. You can also save processed content as audio files (WAV and AIFF) for later burning to a CD or listening to it on your media player.

PhotoScore's main benefit is its ability to accurately scan and convert handwritten and printed music scores into editable, playable digital formats.
