Razer Synapse

The gaming hardware maker Razer released the Razer Software to enable users to configure the RGB lighting and change the settings on Razer peripherals. Settings can be saved to the cloud with a Razer ID account. The current version, Synapse 4, is backwards compatible with the devices supported by Synapse 3. 

Features:

• Allows users to create specific profiles with unique key bindings and macros. As long as the user is signed on to the cloud, they can access those settings from any computer with Synapse
• Ability to access settings on offline mode too
• Profiles, macros and Chroma effects from Synapse 3 can be moved to Synapse 4 with the migration tool 

Razer Synapse lets you configure the lighting, key bindings, macros and performance settings of your Razer devices in one app.

Razer's software is meant to improve the gaming experience and make it easier for users to access their preferences.

The software is also made to sync with many of Razer's peripherals, such as keyboards, mice, headsets, speakers, docks, etc. Synapse 4 also offers advanced macros, Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap settings for supported keyboards, and it installs the device modules it needs.

The offline feature of the software is one of its most practical ones. Once a user has created all their settings, and those have been saved in the cloud, the settings are synced onto the computer. While working on offline mode, the use of the peripherals remains the same, allowing for an uninterrupted gaming experience even if the internet connection drops.

To get all the user's settings uploaded to the cloud and synced, a user must register a Razer ID first and sign in at least once. Razer Synapse is free and runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11; a preview for Macs with Apple silicon is also available.
