StarOffice is a productivity application suite created by the Oracle Corporation. It is an application that includes a number of sub-apps such as the word processor, spreadsheet, database, illustrator, presentation maker, schedule management, e-mail, and newsgroup component.

StarOffice is a free productivity application that performs functions similar to microsoft suites.

Word processor is the word editor used for editing texts and can be saved in readable formats compatible with Microsoft Word. The spreadsheet is also called calc for making calculations and is compatible with Microsoft Excel. The database is called base and is used for storage of records. Presentation maker is used for making presentation and compatible with Microsoft Powerpoint, schedule management is used for making schedules, e-mail is compatible with and Microsoft outlook.

My feedback on the website is that off the bat its colorful which is good because it catches my attention. However the font is smaller then usual seems to be condensed in the top rather than spread out evenly on the page. There isnt too much information on the about us tab. With more information like a company description or something it would make visitors feel more comfortable.

StarOffice for Windows is a legendary system for those in tech. Still around for those who need it. It stands out as an antique offering the same programs as Microsoft Office. StarOffice for Windows has its own version of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. It has more unique names such as Writer, Calc, Spreadsheet, and more. It just as efficient as Microsoft Office and its Free!

StarOffice used to be known as Oracle Open Office. It is an office suite that is similar to other office suits such as Microsoft Word. It can operate using these systems; Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, or Solaris. The programming language that it uses is C++. The original authors for StarOffice was StarDivisions, and Sun Microsystems. This isn't personally a software that I would want to use as it's rather outdated.

I have personally used StarOffice as a budget-friendly alternative to Microsoft Office and completely recommend it.
