STDU Viewer

STDU Viewer is a free application designed to view electronic documents of various formats.

The peculiarity of this software is that it replaces several applications for viewing files at once. STDU Viewer allows you to work with such formats as: TIFF, PDF, DjVu, XPS, JBIG2, WWF. These are the most popular formats for scientific and technical documentation. Additionally, the program supports FB2, TXT, CBR or CBZ, TCR, PalmDoc (PDB), MOBI, AZW, EPub and DCX formats, as well as graphical formats - BMP, PCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, WMF, EMF, PSD.

The program has a modern tabbed interface with all the typical features for this type of application (viewing page thumbnails, their rotation, search by text layers, etc.). Also, STDU Viewer has some advanced features: the ability to export a page or part of a page in an image file, create your own bookmarks, as well as set the functional actions (move to the next page, scroll down) when clicking on certain areas of the page being viewed. The interface is available in English, Russian and French.

STDU Viewer's main benefit is its ability to replace several file-viewing applications, supporting a wide range of document and image formats.

In addition, you can use STDU Viewer as a DjVu and PDF converter to BMP, GIF, PNG image formats, which will display the pages of the original source. For documents with a text layer, the text of all or selected pages can be exported to a file.

STDU Viewer is free software for private, non-commercial use or for educational purposes. For commercial use, you need to register and purchase a license. A portable version is also available. The program is no longer developed, and its last version dates back to 2015.
