Word Reader is a free alternative to Microsoft Word document editor. With this program you can open all DOCX and DOC documents as well as HTM, RTF, HTML and TXT. The key feature of the program is that there is no need to install documents on a Microsoft World computer to use them. You simply download the Word Reader application, the installation file of which is relatively small, and use all the functions of the utility.

While viewing a document, you can change certain text settings (font, alignment, color, scale, etc.), rotate the text, mirror and pan it. By setting up the document in your own way, you can print it out or send it by email. You can open several documents at the same time, which will be displayed in one window as several tabs (similar to Internet browsers). You can choose the design of the program yourself. An on-screen keyboard is present. Editable documents are automatically saved and detailed help is available for each program item. This makes Word Reader easy for the editor to learn. The application is absolutely free.

- does not require the presence of Microsoft Office;

- allows you to change the font style;

- works with documents created in different versions of Word;

- Includes onscreen keyboard, auto-save function and many other useful features;

- is distributed completely free of charge.

Sounds like something I would definitely use! I ended up having to buy Microsoft because I needed it to even open microsoft documents. On top of that a lot of time even opening microsoft documents from one computer to another is not friendly on fonts used/layouts etc. if they are not also downloaded on another computer. This program sounds like a good way to get past those errors.

Word Reader is a product that I have recently looked into, and and really like that this is free. I realized, that I can use this program just as much as I can Word document. It allows to open several files at once, automatic saving, you can edit, change things all right there. I like that it works with different versions of Word without any issues. Plus the onscreen keyboard is a plus.

microsoft office is a very nice program, but it is also laborious and costly. Here is a good alternative to the Word Reader for Windows program. This alternative program developed by softradar.com seems to meet your many document needs.

Word Reader is ideal for netbooks, or anyone who doesn't want Microsoft Word installed. Not everyone uses word processors, after all
