TAL-Vocoder
TAL-Vocoder is a software-based vocal processor designed to create realistic vocal sounds from non-vocal audio sources. The software utilizes a set of algorithms to create a natural sounding, robotic type of vocal sound, similar to the vocoded sounds heard in many classic electronic and synth-pop songs.
TAL-Vocoder provides a realistic sounding vocoder effect with very low CPU usage.
Features:
• Vocoding: TAL-Vocoder uses two different vocoding algorithms to create a robotic sounding vocal effect. The Classic algorithm is based on the classic vocoder sounds of the 1980s, while the new Modern algorithm creates a more modern and expressive type of sound.
• Pitch Correction: TAL-Vocoder includes a built-in pitch correction feature that allows users to adjust the tuning of the vocoded sound. This feature can be used to make the vocoded sound more natural sounding or to create a robotic sounding effect.
• Formant Shifting: This feature allows users to adjust the formant frequencies of the vocoded sound, giving them more control over the character of the sound. The user can either shift the formants manually or use the built-in presets to change the sound quickly.
• Vocal Effects: TAL-Vocoder includes a range of vocal effects such as reverb, delay, phaser, chorus, and flanger. These effects can be used to add depth and texture to the vocoded sound.
• Modulation: TAL-Vocoder includes several modulation sources that can be used to modulate the vocoded sound. These sources include an envelope follower, LFOs, and a step sequencer.
• Automation: The software includes automation capabilities that allow the user to create complex modulations over time.
• MIDI: The software includes MIDI support, allowing users to control the vocoder with an external controller.
• Voice Synthesis: TAL-Vocoder includes a synthesizer engine that can be used to create vocal sounds from scratch.
• Multi-band Processing: The software allows users to split the vocoded sound into multiple frequency bands, allowing for more detailed control of the sound.
• Presets: The software includes a range of preset sounds that can be used as a starting point for creating vocoded sounds.
• Compatibility: TAL-Vocoder is compatible with Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.
