Vivaldi

Vivaldi is a free browser created by Vivaldi Technologies, a company founded by Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder of the original Opera, together with developers from the Opera team. The main purpose of the developers of this browser is to create a product that adapts to the user, with a large number of built-in tools and settings. Like Google Chrome, Vivaldi is based on the Chromium engine, so it loads pages at a similar speed and runs extensions from the Chrome Web Store.

Its interface still reminds many users of the classic Opera. The page zoom slider in the status bar and the side panel, which holds bookmarks, downloads, history, notes and web panels, are immediately striking. Despite the presence of such a panel, Vivaldi does not seem to be overloaded at all, as every panel can be hidden and there is more than enough space for the content.

Among the most interesting features of the browser is the convenient Quick Commands tool, opened with F2, which is a kind of quick access panel to open tabs, bookmarks, history and browser commands. The application also allows you to group tabs into stacks, tile several pages side by side, organize tabs into workspaces and customize keyboard shortcuts and mouse gestures. Vivaldi has a built-in ad and tracker blocker, a translation tool and optional Mail, Calendar and Feed Reader, while encrypted sync keeps your data consistent between devices. The browser is actively developed and receives regular updates.
