Volume2

Volume2 is a program designed to replace the standard Windows volume control. It allows users to adjust the sound level by scrolling the mouse wheel (over the tray icon, at the screen edges or anywhere on screen) or assign keyboard shortcuts for this purpose. The application has a user-friendly interface and includes a choice of skins for the on-screen display and the tray icon. It places its own icon in the notification area and can hide the standard Windows volume indicator automatically.

By clicking on the icon, you can set the balance between the right and left channels, choose the audio device, mute the sound instantly, and so on. You can assign any of these actions to clicking the mouse wheel or other mouse buttons. The program also supports per-application and per-device volume levels, a scheduler for volume changes and launching applications, and control through Voicemeeter, the OSC protocol and the command line. In general, Volume2 is a useful free application by Alexandr Irza, available as an installer or a portable build, which will not be superfluous to install on your computer.

Volume2 offers users a fast and convenient way to adjust their computer's sound level using the mouse wheel or keyboard shortcuts.
