Wake On LAN Ex is an application designed specifically to allow users to remotely manage some of the features of computers that have network cards. An example of one of these features is the ability to shut down the computer remotely by sending a so-called "magic" data packet.

Another useful feature when starting Wake On LAN Ex is the ability to send special data to the connected computers, which facilitates the normal loading of all PCs in turn.

"Wake On LAN Ex offers the convenience of managing and controlling remote computers, including their power and hibernation modes, simplifying network administration."

Depending on the capabilities of the remote computer, it can be put into hibernating mode or switched off completely, leaving the ability to respond to Wake-On-LAN commands.

WoLEX also supports shutting down the remote computer, restarting it, logging events, switching to hibernating mode and sending messages to the administrator.

Imagine that. I can turn on any computer remotely. Like when I am away from home, I can still have control over my systems. All I need to use is a small phrase. Just so easy. This amazing software is called Wake On LAN Ex for Windows. I just need to configure my computer to turn on when I send it the message. The magic packet is what the developers call them. It really does work like magic.
