Wireless Snif is a program for capturing and analyzing traffic. The application allows you to capture packets directly from the network card and is able to analyze traffic sent and received via ICQ, AIM, MSN Messenger, IRC chats, e-mail clients, IP, TCP, UDP, etc. With Wireless Snif, you can view packets in real time and save them for later analysis. The program is available in two versions - console and user interface. Wireless Snif allows you to capture packets regardless of the network configuration (LAN/WLAN) - both when users connect to a single hub and when using a switch. The list of Wi-Fi chipsets supported by the program includes Atheros, Prism, Hermes, Ralink, ZyDAS and Intel.
