Celestia is a program that allows you to observe the planets in the solar system and more than 100 thousand stars of our galaxy in real time. Celestia is a virtual 3D planetarium that allows you to observe space objects not only from the surface of the Earth, but also from anywhere in the galaxy. You can zoom in and out on space bodies, view data from the planets of the solar system, observe our home planet from different points, speed up and slow down time in the virtual universe, adjust the display of stars and planets, light parameters, textures and much more.

The Celestia Virtual Planetarium has a built-in help system that allows you to view the parameters of the stars in our galaxy. You can adjust many options for displaying space objects, including or excluding galaxies, stars and star clusters, planets and their atmosphere, comets, asteroids, artificial satellites, nebulae, etc. At the same time you can see any scale of viewing - on the screen of your computer can fit as a huge piece of the galaxy, and a small fragment of the spacecraft.

Support for scripting languages and addons is worth mentioning separately. Recall that addons are small programs that are downloaded and installed separately and allow you to extend the functionality of Celestia. Thus, there are addons for detailed observation of the planets of the solar system, comets and asteroids, spacecraft and artificial satellites, as well as objects located in the farthest corners of our galaxy. In addition, there is a series of addons that allow you to "observe" the galaxy, planets and ships from fantastic films - Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Space Odyssey 2001.

Celestia offers an immersive 3D universe exploration experience, with detailed customization options and extensive add-on support.

- watching planets, stars, nebulae, etc..;

- to obtain data on the planets of the solar system and the stars of our galaxy;

- a wide range of options for selecting a point of observation;

- support for scripts and addons.

Wow. I've been wanting to see space from my computer in 3D. Someone has the bright idea to create Celestia for Windows that lets me do just that. It runs on Windows, OS, Android, Linus, and iOS so I can install it on anything and take it to go with me. It's a free space simulation. When I run it, I really feel like I am immersed in space. I feel so lucky to be able to see the universe in 3D. I will not be bored again.

I have been using Celestia software for a few years now and I must say that it is a unique and interesting piece of software. It allows you to explore the universe in a way that you would never be able to do in real life. It runs smoothly and is very easy to use. It's also free which is great. The visuals are stunning and the amount of detail is impressive. You can fly around the universe, zoom in and out and explore different stars and planets. The only downside is that it can be quite slow at times when running a lot of features. But overall, it's a great tool for anyone interested in astronomy.
