Flixtor

Through this application, you can watch movies, TV shows, and even anime from the comfort of your home. It also contains subtitle support for more than 30 different languages, a Trakt integration for up-to-date information and incredible box-arts, and it streams in Full 1080p, 720p and even 480p for slower connections.

Thanks to the integration of YIFY and EZTV for fluid and efficient streaming, watching an online movie with Flixtor is very simple. Use its main panel to find the latest releases or use its simple search system that allows you to locate any title manually or by navigating through your menu options.

Flixtor shows movies and TV shows in one window, with subtitles and a choice of video quality.

Features:

• You can play the trailer before watching the movie.
• You can search an external index for more titles from inside the app.
• It contains a navigation and search system that allows you to filter the titles by specific genres and categories.
• It maintains an integration of YIFY and EZTV for fluid and efficient streaming.
• Filter your favorite content by more specific genres and categories.
• Possibility to paste magnet links.
• An integrated settings panel for managing the movie data cache and the default language and subtitles.

The desktop application looks a lot like Popcorn Time, but it allows you to choose the source and the quality of the movie, lets you open the movies in VLC instead of the built-in player, and presents a good selection of TV series.

The original Flixtor app was shut down in June 2014 after pressure from Motion Picture Association Canada, and later desktop versions for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android came from a new team.

Development of the desktop app has stopped, and its official websites are offline today. Streaming copyrighted content without permission may be illegal in many countries.
