LAN Speed Test is an application designed to measure the data transfer rate in a local network (both wired and wireless). LAN Speed Test works as follows: the program creates a test file and transmits it by measuring the data transfer rate (write and read) per unit of time. The application has a very small size, does not require installation, can be run from external media and is able to create test files up to 9 gigabytes in size, while taking up not more than 10 MB in RAM. The process of measuring the data exchange rate is accompanied by a progress bar display and, if necessary, can be stopped. The program is characterized by a high speed of operation - on average, it takes no more than one minute to measure. LAN Speed Test is compatible with LST servers, allows you to view the list of equipment connected to the local network, can ping the connected computers and supports the command line. In addition, the program is able to run scheduled tests, can record all measured data in a log file, and can export and import data from CSV files. The LAN Speed Test supports multithreading.
The main benefit of the LAN Speed Test software is its ability to accurately and quickly measure data transfer rates within a local network.
- Measuring the speed of data transmission in the local network;
- LST server support.
