XSpider is a program designed for network auditing and scanning of network systems and hardware for vulnerabilities. The unregistered version of the program is somewhat reduced in capabilities and does not allow to update the vulnerability database, search for DoS-vulnerabilities and use some heuristics-based verification procedures.

One of the many in my NetSec tool box. Probably one of the best auditing tools I've used in a few years to get results fast. Its got a good hardware vuln database also, they seem to keep it pretty up to date. I use it for lock down client PCs on sloppily managed networks, amazing how unsecure most business around are configured. Kind of embarrassing when you have apps like this making it so easy.
X-Spider is a software published by Positive Technologies. It is used for Windows, and its last revision was last week. It was designed for auditing and scanning hardware for vulnerabilities within the system. The old version of this software does not work as efficiently.
I'm kind of a novice when it comes to networking, so I downloaded this based on a rec from a friend. Hands down, easiest scanning tools I've used so far. It lets me know if there's a problem with the hardware super quick and it's pretty up to date. Really easy to use so I highly recommend it.
