LinkWare PC

LinkWare PC is a cable test management application from Fluke Networks used to import, organize, analyze and report the results of copper and fiber cabling certification tests. It helps installers document a cabling infrastructure and reduces the time it takes to prepare test documentation for customers. LinkWare PC features a flexible reporting system, a familiar Windows interface and a range of tools for organizing and analyzing test results from many Fluke Networks testers.

• Comprehensive Reporting System: LinkWare PC produces professional test reports in three formats: a graphical format with color plots of all measured parameters, a text format with numeric results, and a summary format with a one-line overview of each tested link. Reports can be printed or saved as PDF files, which are easy to attach to project documentation prepared in Word.

LinkWare PC allows users to quickly and easily manage their data and test results.

• User-Friendly Interface: LinkWare PC's Windows interface uses a project tree, a sortable table of test records and a toolbar for common tasks. A single click on the toolbar imports data from a connected tester or from a memory card, and the software includes a built-in help system.

• Tools for Analysis: LinkWare PC includes advanced sorting and searching of test records and LinkWare Stats, a statistical view of the performance of an entire cable plant. These tools help to spot marginal links and identify potential issues with the cabling.

• Project Management: LinkWare PC lets users organize test results by site, customer, campus or building, merge results into an existing LinkWare database and archive them electronically. It can also configure and print TIA-606-A documentation, and the toolbar offers a sign-in to LinkWare Live, the Fluke Networks cloud service for Versiv testers.

• Easy to Use: LinkWare PC is designed to be used by both experienced installers and newcomers. Settings such as the date and time format, length units (feet or meters), power units and number format are adjusted in a simple configuration dialog.

• Compatibility: LinkWare PC supports copper and fiber test results from Fluke Networks testers, including the DSX CableAnalyzer series, CertiFiber Pro, OptiFiber Pro, the DTX CableAnalyzer series and SimpliFiber Pro. It is free software for Windows; owners of legacy DSP-100, DSP-2000 and PentaScanner testers are advised to use the older version 6.2.
