Marmoset Toolbag is a program designed to edit, texture and render three-dimensional models. It includes a multifunctional material editor, tools to create animation, rendering module and other "usefulness".
From version to version, the developers noticeably improved the functionality of the Marmoset Toolbag. In its latest version you can perform such complex tasks as setting up global lighting, creating CG-graphics, adding depth of field to the displayed space and so on. All these operations are performed in real time and require a powerful graphics adapter (GPU) in the system. There are also tools in the program that help to capture the created work beautifully and save a screenshot for presentations/portfolios (ultra-high resolutions are supported).
Marmoset Toolbag provides real-time editing, texturing, and rendering of 3D models, offering efficiency and precision in creating high-quality outputs.
Marmoset Toolbag imports and exports a huge number of 3D model formats. When importing scenes from third-party editors, it recognizes key frames, camera positions and other initial parameters. Light source data can be "borrowed" from an FBX file.
In addition to development tools, Marmoset Toolbag also offers publication tools. The program is tightly integrated with the ArtStation service, which allows you to present ready-made projects to the public. After the bundle of accounts in the program and in the service, the placement of work will be carried out by pressing a couple of keys. The program's undeniable advantages include support for exporting projects to the most popular game engines: Unity and Unreal Engine.
