Star Wars: The Old Republic is probably one of my favorite free to play online MMORPGs. This game has a lot of heart and is one of the only Star Wars Legends material that is currently still being updated and supported. The game feels just like World of Warcraft, but with Star Wars. You get to create and customize your character as well as choose a faction to join. You can either be a Jedi or a Sith. Each faction has their own unique storyline as well as different quests and outcomes within the game. Not only that, but you get to play with tons of other players around the world. I love being able to join up with some friends and run around in the Star Wars galaxy together.

One of my favorite features is being able to customize my character and pick what color of lightsaber I have. You also get an apartment in the game and can customize it throughout your journey. The game itself is huge and spread across multiple different planets. You have a ship that serves as your main HUB to travel with. You can have companions that will join you and help you fight enemies. The game can be hard at times when fighting bosses, but the satisfaction of getting through a tough fight is very rewarding. The game is still getting updated, and lots of new content gets released for it. The new content does cost money to play, but the extra stories are huge and awesome to experience. There are in-game events that get added throughout the month, which are fun too. It helps keep the game feeling lively and mysterious.

There are tons of places to find lore videos and community discussions about the game too. While the game may seem vast and intimidating, it's super easy to learn about it and find a group to play with online. The Star Wars community is very friendly. I found myself playing alongside a ton of different people throughout my journies in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

If you are a fan of Star Wars and like MMORPGs, I would highly reccomend you check out Star Wars: The Old Republic. It has a lot of heart and feels like an authentic Star Wars story. I love feeling like I am in the Star Wars universe while playing it.

As an MMORPG and Star Wars geek I had to try this game. To be honest it blows all of the other MMORPG's out of the water. It has super high quality graphics and gameplay and it's FREE TO PLAY. Almost every other MMORPG I have played has had a base cost or a subscription service cost, and this one does not. I was afraid that the quality of the game and the player base would be subpar but it is actually really nice.
