VuePrint is a Windows image viewer and printing utility from Hamrick Software, the company also known for VueScan. It was first released in 1995 and is now free: the developer publishes the serial number 15551888 on its website to unlock the full program. VuePrint opens and prints images in formats such as JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PCX and TGA, and it can convert images from one format to another. Besides pictures, it plays sound files (MIDI and Wave) and movie files such as AVI, MPG, MOV and FLI/FLC, and it reads images packed inside uuencoded, MIME, BinHex and ZIP files. VuePrint is not a full photo editor like Adobe Photoshop; its editing tools cover basic tasks such as cropping images and reducing their size for e-mail. For quick viewing, the spacebar and backspace keys move through large collections of images, and the program can show thumbnails, run a slide show, save an image as wallpaper and work as a screen saver.
Another useful thing is language support. VuePrint is available in 11 languages: English, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Swedish, which helps users who prefer a program in their native language.
VuePrint lets you browse, print and convert large collections of images quickly without paying for software.
Features:
In the final analysis, VuePrint is a lightweight, long-standing tool for viewing, printing and converting pictures. Its download page was last updated in 2019, and on Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista or 64-bit XP you might need to turn off Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for VuePrint. Users who need layers, retouching or other advanced editing will need a separate image editor. The free VueSlide utility from the same developer can distribute VuePrint slide shows on CD-ROM.
