The Wake on LAN utility is an application type that allows you to interact with your computer remotely. By downloading this program, the user can start the PC via the local network, as well as turn off its power supply and monitor the ping. Wake on LAN uses a special magic packet technology, which is inherently a byte sequence. It can also be used to check the status of managed computers, shut down all PCs at once, and connect to the server using a remote desktop.

Wake on LAN has a simple, customizable interface. The user can set up the features of displaying the toolbar, folders, "hot" buttons, status bar. Controlled computers are displayed on the program desktop, and when you click on them, the program prompts you to select scripts: start, turn off, interrupt shutdown, clear the desktop. All menu items have settings, so each user can customize the program to their needs.

The main benefit of using the Wake on LAN software is its ability to remotely boot up, manage, and monitor computers within a network.

- the ability to interact remotely with a managed PC;

- easily customizable interface;

- to turn on/off multiple PCs at the same time;

- the ability to connect to the server via a remote desktop.

This seems like a really good product, it would be brilliant to be able to access not just my own files but my own desktop when away on holiday or for work. Being able to turn on/off multiple PC's at a time is also a huge advantage.

Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is a software application that allows a computer to be powered on (or "woken up") remotely over a local area network or the Internet. It works by sending a special data packet called a "magic packet" to the target computer, which can then be used to power on the machine.

I have used Wake on LAN software for a few years now. It is surprisingly easy to use and setup, and I like the convenience of being able to turn my computer on from a remote location. The response time is usually good, so I don't have to wait long for my computer to power up. The one downside I have noticed is that the software can be a bit unstable when I am using an older version of the operating system.

Wake on LAN software is a tool designed to remotely power on computers on the same network. It allows users to send a "magic packet" to a sleeping or powered-off computer, prompting it to wake up and become available for use. This software typically offers features such as scheduling wake-up times, support for multiple devices, and the ability to wake up computers over the internet. It is commonly used in IT environments to save energy and improve productivity by eliminating the need for manual start-up.
