As someone who really enjoys writing as a way of calming my nerves during my free time, I personally found ZenWriter to be an extremely useful software program. In addition to the features one would expect from a word processor--copying, pasting, word count, and more--there are so many different ways to customize the interface to fit whichever mood is desired at the moment. For example, I love that I can change the background image to whatever I want it to be and that there are so many different songs to choose from as I type. In addition to this, the interface is visually attractive and extremely easy to navigate even for those who are not tech-savvy. I can honestly say that using ZenWriter has made the writing process even more relaxing and enjoyable for me, and everyone I've recommended it to has agreed.

It is the ease and convenience I like the most. It does not have all the bells and whistles that other software has. This is simply for note taking. It's great for jotting down quick ideas or thoughts, like a journal. I do not seem to be so distracted while this because the set up and concept is incredibly easy to learn and use. I love that I can import my own music as well as change the background so it's customizable to me.
