PCMScan

PCMScan is a generic OBD-II scan tool that detects errors and malfunctions in Asian, American and European cars. All you need to do to activate it is to connect a supported OBD-II adapter (ELM327, J2534, AutoTap or VIA) to the car and the computer, and then you can use all its functions, such as reading freeze frame data, displaying and clearing error codes, viewing oxygen sensor test results and providing general information about the car. Please note that this utility supports only OBD-II compliant cars, which means 1996 and newer models in the US.

After starting the program, a screen with the main tabs will appear. Diagnostics provides all the necessary tools for reading and removing errors, freeze frame data, oxygen sensors, monitor status and live sensor data. Performance offers a Dyno and a Drag Strip. The Dashboards tab opens gauges, graphs, tables and maps that display the main vehicle parameters in real time. Here you can record the data, export logs to CSV and print them. Tools has an OBD-II Terminal option that allows you to send custom OBD-II commands to the vehicle, and a Plugin Manager. On the Settings tab, you will find the Vehicle Info button, the OBD-II settings and the PID configurator.
