Tor Browser Bundle

Tor Browser Bundle is the former name of Tor Browser, a software package that allows you to start using the anonymous Tor network quickly and easily without going into technical details. Tor technology is based on the use of encrypted virtual tunnels through relays run by volunteers around the globe. Early versions of Tor Browser Bundle included Tor itself, the Vidalia graphical shell and a portable version of the Firefox browser configured to use Tor; today the package is a single browser based on Firefox ESR with Tor built in, the NoScript extension, HTTPS-Only mode, security levels, bridges for censored networks and a New Identity button. By installing Tor Browser - a ready-made solution for using the Tor network - you can greatly increase the level of anonymity of your presence on the Internet: websites see the IP address of a Tor exit relay instead of yours, and your traffic is encrypted on its way through the Tor network, so your provider cannot see which sites you visit. Tor Browser is free, open-source software developed by The Tor Project.
