This software saved me from trying to figure out what was connected to my computer. I use my computer for gaming, work and editing which means I have A LOT of external USB connections and trying to check up on all of them was like trying to find a connection in a maze. This puts it all into one place where I can easily see the activity,

USBDeview is a really nifty tool that lets you know which USB devices are currently plugged into the computer that you are using. It also lets you know which USB devices you've used in the past and gives you a complete and comprehensive record detailing which device it was, the serial number, the type, and when you plugged it in, which is very helpful.

USBDeview for Windows is incredibly useful! The software is free which is very convenient and makes it even more worth it to download and utilize. The great thing about it is the information that the software provides. It of course shows all the USBs that you have plugged into your computer. Additionally, it also shows a bit of a blurb about the device, and some information about use and a serial number. It is ideal if you use multiple USBs.
