VideoCap SDK ActiveX is a component designed to create applications that can capture video from webcams, TV tuners and other devices. The program can be used in development environments supporting .NET and ActiveX - from Delphi 4 to Visual Studio 2010 (RAD Studio, Visual Basic 6, VBA, Visual C, Visual FoxPro, PHP, ASP, XBasic, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Realbasic, WinDev, C#, J#, VB.NET, etc.). Created with the help of VideoCap SDK ActiveX programs can capture video and audio, allow you to preview the resulting picture, use compression (DivX, XVid, etc.), convert the resulting video to AVI and WMV formats, output video with the effect of "picture in picture", apply transparency, take screenshots from IP-cameras and much more. The program supports a wide range of TV tuners and video capture cards, allows you to control the brightness, contrast and size of the picture, as well as to save the resulting images in memory or in a file (BMP, JPG).
