HP SimplePass

The HP SimplePass is a password manager made to work with compatible HP laptops, especially those with a fingerprint reader. It is easy to use and it is free. With its simple interface, it lets you save your logins and passwords and then use your fingerprint so that it signs in for you automatically in the future, simply by swiping your finger over the fingerprint reader. The fingerprint reader scans your finger and uses the scanned fingerprint to match the stored credentials to the website or application you need. By scanning your fingerprint instead of typing your user name and password, you can log in to your favorite websites in public without revealing your username or password. Instead of a fingerprint, the SimplePass can also be a PIN or your Windows password. Supported browsers include Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer. Not only can you use HP SimplePass to log in to websites, but it can also be used to log in to Windows. You can view all of your saved sites in the SimplePass application under the My LaunchSite tab. The program is built on Softex technology and works with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 7, 8 and 10; version 8.01.46 is the latest release.
