HP Wireless Assistant is a support type application from HP. It works as a remote troubleshooting software.

It can offer live help via phone calls. Users can also get live help and feedback via their chat section. It comes pre installed in almost any HP computer. However, manufacturers can also install this software in the computers if they want.

However, sometimes it can mess up the system if it gets malware from 3rd party parties. Also, sometimes the users need to stay even for hours to get feedback for their important questions.

In theory this program is a good idea. However, there seem to be a few issues at times. Although the program is user friendly, it some what over complicates things which in turn can cause issues with your operating systems. Good news though if you don't like the program it is easily removed.

Bluetooth Connections. Something many people wanted before, but simply didn't have access to was connecting to your device via Bluetooth. The time for waiting is over. If you don't have WiFi available to you, but you have devices that can connect via Bluetooth, you can use HP Connection Manager to assist you in connecting your devices so that you can continue to use all your tools while you're away from the Internet.

I'm not finding anything extraordinary with this software that isn't already sufficiently taken care of with windows. My computer was much slower upon reboot and now there is an extra icon on my desktop. The only positive thing I can say about this program is that it is more convenient that you can turn the Bluetooth off while keeping the wifi on. Overall, I would rather just deal with windows wireless network and opt out of this software. Out of 5 stars, I give it 2.

The HP Wireless Assistant for Windows makes enabling and disabling bluetooth, WWAN, and WLAN devices a breeze. Using the Assistant, you can also view the status of such wireless devices very easily, in a single, cohesive place. As a replacement for Windows Zero Utility, it outperforms the old software in every aspect, from ease of use, ease of understanding information, and the look of the graphics and interface. I cannot praise or recommend this software enough for fellow Hewlett Packard users.
