Tampermonkey

Tampermonkey is a free extension for popular browsers, which is the manager of userscripts - small JavaScript programs that change how web pages look and work. It provides a built-in editor for writing your own scripts and can install scripts written by others. Ready-made scripts for Tampermonkey, published on sites such as Greasy Fork and OpenUserJS, help to change the appearance of pages, add new buttons, fill in forms, automate various tasks and so on. In addition, the extension has a very active community. Its participants share various useful scripts (often completely free) on these script sites, from where they can be downloaded by anyone. In general, those who are not able to create scripts independently, will be able to take advantage of ready-made solutions. The important thing is to install scripts only from trusted sources.

As mentioned earlier, Tampermonkey not only allows you to create scripts, but also to manage them. If scripts have been added to the extension from external sources, Tampermonkey will be able to automatically check for updates for them, and you can set how often this happens. The dashboard lets you sort installed scripts, enable or disable them, check their syntax with ESLint and edit them if necessary.

Tampermonkey has its own pop-up panel that displays the scripts running on the current page and lets you start an update check. The extension is available for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Edge and Safari browsers; the Safari version is a paid app. Earlier, the developer also offered versions for the mobile browsers Dolphin and UC Browser; today it can be used on Android through Microsoft Edge.
